A long time Auburn resident, husband and father raising the third generation of Auburnites. Matt has a vested interest in Auburn's prosperity and will work to plan its future for generations to come.
Matt is an active community leader involved in many organizations throughout town. He is privileged to serve such an engaged community.
Matt's Background
Matt has 30 years of experience in planning, design and engineering of large-scale master planned communities, municipal infrastructure projects and infill development projects. He has been the principal in charge, project manager and licensed professional responsible for a multitude of development projects throughout Northern California. His responsibilities included engineering and environmental document coordination, regional drainage, sewer and water master plans, capital improvement programs, public financing, final improvement plan preparation with extensive background in low impact design and NPDES compliance. Matt’s experience with public projects includes municipal infrastructure, water/wastewater system design, and roadway improvement projects with an emphasis in public bikeway facilities (Class I - III) and federal/military housing redevelopment projects across the country. Matt is a Qualified SWPPP Developer (QSD) and a Qualified SWPPP Practitioner (QSP) in the State of California.
